Is this device ready to be rooted or will I need to unlock to access the bootloader?
Hello, our Mi Max arrives unlocked with Google Play installed on original ROM. You should be able to root it with no problem but please note that rooting a Xiaomi device will void its warranty on software issues. Thank you.
