The Huawei MediaPad M6 sports an 8.4-inch 2K IPS display with a resolution of 1600x2560 pixels. Under the hood, the tablet device is powered by Huawei’s in-house octa-core Kirin 980 SoC and Mali-G76 GPU, paired with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB internal storage. The Huawei MediaPad M6 Turbo Edition also supports expandable storage up to 512GB via a microSD card. Along with these, the tablet device packs a 6,000mAh battery. However, the device does not sport a fingerprint scanner or support fast charging tech. However, the company claims that the MediaPad M6 Turbo edition can offer 12.5 hours of video playback.
In terms of optics, the Huawei MediaPad M6 Turbo Edition features a singular 13-megapixel sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 and support for Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF). On the front, the tablet device has an 8-megapixel camera setup with f/2.0 aperture.
The Huawei MediaPad M6 Turbo Edition runs Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9.1. And, the tablet device comes with features such as GPU Turbo 3.0 to enhance gaming performance. The Huawei MediaPad M6 Turbo Edition also sports Harman Kardon branded stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. Also, the MediaPad M6 Turbo Edition comes with PC-grade liquid cooling tech that offers 200 percent larger heat dissipation area, which can lower the GPU temperature by 5 percent. The cooling tube in the MediaPad M6 Turbo Edition is 120mm long made with three layers of graphite and the device comes with a rear panel that supports thermal conductivity.
